Why is my footrest slipping?

Make sure the o-rings are installed as per the instructions. If they are and it's still slipping we recommend pushing the o-rings up and wiping the highchair legs with rubbing alcohol then let them air dry. When rolling the o-rings back down try to limit contact with the legs to avoid putting any oil on them. If you have been using your footrest for awhile try replacing the o-rings with your spares as they can wear overtime.

 

SILICONE PLACEMATS

What is the difference between the half and full cover silicone placemats and which is better?

Our half cover silicone placemats only cover the tray of the highchair and our full cover silicone placemats cover the tray as well as the edges. Both are as popular as each other and some customers purchase one of each so they always have a clean one ready to go or keep one in their bag for when out at a Café.

Do your silicone placemats stain?

Silicone is highly stain resistant. It may appear stained after using a bright sauce, but if you keep using and washing like normal, it should go away on its own. Soaking the placemat in water overnight may speed up the process. You can also soak in hydrogen peroxide or leave the placemat in the sun if needed.

 

Do suction plates stick well to silicone placemats?

Yes! If you’re having trouble getting it to stick try putting some water on the suction part and pressing it down on the tray.

 

Will your placemats fit the Target/Kmart/Big W highchairs?

Our half and full cover silicone placemats were designed to perfectly fit the IKEA Antilop highchair tray. They will still fit the Target, Kmart and Big W highchair trays but not perfectly. With the half cover they will be slightly longer around the edges and can be left as is or trimmed. With the full cover they just won’t have as snug fit around the edges. We have had many customers that own these highchairs purchase our silicone placemats, it really comes down to personal choice.

 

CUSHION COVERS

Do I need the cushion insert?

You will need a cushion insert to use our covers. If you already have the IKEA Antilop support cushion, there's no need to get a new one. But if you don't already have a cushion, you can purchase our cushion insert separately. Please note, you only need one cushion insert per highchair, then you can change the cover as often as you like.

 

Can the cushions be used on other highchairs?

Our cushion covers are designed to perfectly fit the IKEA highchair inflatable cushion. They can be used in other highchairs if they fit, however please note if they have shoulder safety straps you won't be able to use these when using the cushion. The cushions are also great for using on swings at home or at the park.
